Hello

I'm Katy O'Donoghue, a behavior specialist with over 15 years experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory differences, and big emotions. I specialize in helping families turn daily chaos into calm — through play, connection, and real-world strategies that actually work.

I believe every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported — and every parent deserves practical tools, not judgment. My goal is to help you build a calmer, more connected home without power struggles or shame.

My Story

Over the years, I’ve worked as a nanny, educator, behavior support specialist, and adaptive scuba instructor (specializing in working with divers with disabilities). Along the way, I’ve supported countless kids with neurodivergent needs and emotional challenges of all kinds. I’m also neurodivergent myself, which gives me a deep, lived understanding of what it’s like to feel overwhelmed in a world that isn’t always built for sensitive systems.

My approach is calm, playful, and rooted in real-world experience. I know that raising neurodivergent kids can feel chaotic, confusing, and lonely—and I’m here to make it feel a little lighter. Whether I’m working in your home or over Zoom, I’ll meet your family with compassion, creativity, and a nervous-system-informed lens.

From sensory meltdowns to bedtime battles, I’ve helped families through it all. I believe in connection over correction—and that small shifts can create big change. Let’s work together to build a day-to-day that actually works for your family.
